Your Yoga Retreats


Retreats are based at Yoga Sutra Shala, a unique yoga and meditation retreat centre, which is located in the village of Benissiva, close to Alicante in Valencia, Spain. Here you will have views of some of the most beautiful mountains and countryside in the world.


Our main aims are to help you develop your health to the best degree that we can offer, to help you learn relaxation techniques and learn meditation so helping you to deal with stress, to improve the quality of your life, your happiness and your sense of well-being. Our aims all revolve around giving you the best yoga retreat experience in the world. 

You will be taught meditation, asana (posture), chanting, philosophy and breathing techniques during the workshops. All classes and workshops will be optional as we want you to enjoy your stay and develop at your own pace.


You will be asked before the beginning of each retreat what areas you want to develop in. Your retreat will be personalised according to your wants and needs for your own development whether you are a new or established student of yoga.

Our wonderful yoga teachers also offer their time to you for private yoga sessions. So if you would like to go at a different pace in your practice; or work on an individual aspect or posture of yoga; or if you would like help with moving around an injury; or if there is anything else that you want to work on, you can book a session when you arrive.

As well as this you will have the opportunity to make friends with like-minded people visiting from all over the world.


Namit and his fellow teachers will be giving classes to help you develop the areas that you want to develop in.
The workshops will be your opportunity to develop your own personal practice and ask the questions that you want to ask.
