With all the choices on offer these days, we thought it would be helpful for us to give you some reasons that we think make our retreat centre so special:

We are passionate about the benefits of a healthy diet:  Your meals are planned and produced with this objective and you can learn about nutrition here from experts in this field.

The fruits and vegetables we use are organic and freshly sourced from local farmers.
Most of them come from a local organic farmer called Joan, who grows everything on four large plots in the Valencian countryside within 25km of the retreat.  Joan delivers to us two to three times each week so that we have fresh produce for you to enjoy.

All meals are plant-based and are freshly prepared with love by our fantastic chefs, using this organic local produce and organic whole-foods.

Spring water, organic coffee and a selection of organic teas and infusions, fruits and home-made snacks are available to you throughout your stay.

Location & Accommodation

The Valle de La Gallinera is one of the most beautiful locations in Europe:  The mountains and the valley here bring their own peace and inspiration and you will really enjoy the presence of them.  We offer guided hikes for those who would like to explore the natural beauty that surrounds the retreat centre.

Accommodation is offered in beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, each with central heating, aircon and en suite bathroom. Some rooms also have a balcony with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

For retreats we have private bedroom options available so there is never any pressure to share or be sociable, although our friendly shala and comfortable communal areas give ample time and space for guests to make friends and enjoy each other’s company.  As well as this our meditation gardens are enormous and we are sure you will find a spot there that you like.

During YTT courses, all rooms are offered as private, single occupancy.

There is a communal guest kitchen for preparing snacks between mealtimes and classes

and there are areas for sitting and for dinning – both inside and outside.

Classes take place in the shala and when possible outside in the sunshine and fresh mountain air.

We have developed our retreats in order to help you to bring a positive inner change into your life.

With our many years of experience in running retreats and in listening to the feedback from our guests about their experiences, we can offer what our guest’s need in an informative, fun, safe, calm and comfortable manner.

On retreats we offer different classes to encompass all levels and abilities of yoga.
During the yoga teacher training (YTT) courses we will instruct you to teach to the level of each student, based on our many years of teaching experience.

Our wonderful yoga teachers also offer their time to you for private yoga sessions.  So if you would like to go at a different pace in your practice; or work on an individual aspect or posture of yoga; or if you would like help with moving around an injury; or if there is anything else that you want to work on, you can book a session when you arrive.

Over the years we have developed several complimentary (optional) workshops to help guide you through your retreat or teacher training, so that you can develop and consolidate what you have been learning, including culinary and creative skills and interests.

Examples are: Vipassana meditation; creative writing; making raw energy balls; Non-Violent Communication; stress relief; head massage; emotional relief and so on.
